| CHOIR: Parents, for those of you that did not have the opportunity to meet Mrs. Elam at the performance in December, she has taken over as the primary choir instructor. She and Mrs. Bumpus co-taught for the remainder of the first semester, until they both decided Mrs. Elam was ready to take over the class. Mrs. Elam made a career of teaching choir at various high schools and universities before semi-retiring. She is no stranger to competitions and we are excited to have her guidance as we add choir to our different grade levels. Mrs. Bumpus may still pop in every now and then to help with upcoming performances, etc., but otherwise she will return to focusing on her art class. | |||||||
